The Advanced Management Program for medical doctors (Advanced Management Program für Ärztinnen/Ärzte) starts exactly here. The intense program (2 x 2 days, plus short online sessions) was developed by WHU and MLP School of Financial Education (MLP SoFE) and addresses the daily challenges of medical doctors. A special focus is on the topics of finance, taxes, and digitalization. Further, you will reflect your leadership personality and will learn to become more resilient toward challenges and setbacks.
You will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance of WHU and MLP SoFE after successful completion of the program.
Program Content
The “Advanced Management Program for Medical Doctors” is an intense and exclusive executive education format with a limit on the number of participations. It consists of two compact face-to-face seminars (weekend) and a series of short workshops that are held online.
Face-to-face weekend 1: (Friday evening – Sunday afternoon)
- Healthcare market in flux: what are the implications for medical doctors as decision-makers?
- Entrepreneurial decision-making – finance
- Executive decisions: reflection on one’s own management role, management styles & authenticity
Short online workshops (90 minutes, Wednesday evenings)
- Personal resilience
- Ten helpful questions on the subjects of “taxes” and “pension provision & sale of practice”
- Peer consulting
Face-to-face weekend 2: (Friday evening – early Sunday afternoon)
- Entrepreneurial decision-making – digitalization
- Entrepreneurial decision-making – practice valuation & role of capital investors
- Executive decisions: motivating high-performance teams & managing conflict
- Presentation of personal roadmap
Program Format and Module Dates
The program consists of two face-to-face modules plus a series of short online workshops. The format is designed so that the participants can fit the program around their working day as optimally as possible: the compact face-to-face seminars take place at the weekend (optional networking on Friday, seminars Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon).
Between the two on-site modules, there are 90-minute virtual sessions on Wednesday evenings. After confirming your application, the exact dates will be communicated.
